Cendrawasih is the bird of paradise
The birds of Cendrawasih are members of families Paradisaeidae, of the ordo Passeriformes. They are found in eastern Indonesia, the islands of Torres Strait, Papua New Guinea, and the east Australia. This bird family members are known for their feathers in male birds of many kinds, especially the feathers are very elongated and complex that grew from the beak, wings or head. Size of Cendrawasih birds, Cendrawasih King at 50 grams and 15 cm, Cendrawasih Part-sickle Black at 110 cm and Cendrawasih Manukod topknot-rolled at 430 grams.
The Cendrawasih birds that most famous are members of the genus of Paradisaea, including its type species, large yellow Cendrawasih, Paradisaea apoda.
